School / Group Transportation Addendum

This School / Group Transportation Addendum (the “Addendum”) forms part of, and is incorporated into, the CallMeDD Inc. Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict, this Addendum shall govern for School and Group Transportation services.

1. Definitions

“School / Group Transportation” means pre-arranged transportation services provided to a group of passengers, including but not limited to schools, colleges, universities, camps, sports teams, clubs, and organized youth or adult groups.

“Group Organizer” means the school, institution, organization, or individual responsible for booking and coordinating transportation services.

“Authorized Representative” means a person designated by the Group Organizer to act as the on-site point of contact.

2. Scope of Service

CallMeDD Inc. provides transportation services only. Unless expressly agreed to in writing, CallMeDD Inc. does not provide supervision, childcare, educational oversight, or custodial care.

Drivers are responsible for safe vehicle operation and passenger transport between designated pickup and drop-off locations only.

3. Booking & Scheduling

All School / Group Transportation services must be:

  • Booked in advance;

  • Confirmed in writing by CallMeDD Inc.; and

  • Based on agreed routes, pickup times, drop-off times, and passenger counts.

Changes to routes, schedules, or passenger numbers must be approved by CallMeDD Inc. and may result in additional fees.

4. Authorized Representative Requirement

For group transportation involving minors, the Group Organizer must designate at least one Authorized Representative to:

  • Be present at pickup and drop-off locations;

  • Manage attendance and headcounts;

  • Address behavioral or disciplinary matters.

CallMeDD Inc. drivers are not responsible for managing group behavior beyond safety-related instructions.

5. Passenger Eligibility & Consent (Minors)

Transportation of passengers under sixteen (16) years of age requires:

  • Written parental or guardian consent on file; and

  • Compliance with all Minor Transportation terms and policies of CallMeDD Inc.

The Group Organizer is responsible for ensuring all required consents have been properly obtained and submitted prior to service.

6. Pickup & Drop-Off Procedures

Pickup and drop-off locations must be:

  • Safe, legal, and accessible for the vehicle type;

  • Clearly communicated in advance.

CallMeDD Inc. is not responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by unsafe locations, absent passengers, or late arrivals.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, drivers will not escort passengers into buildings or verify the identity of receiving parties.

7. Passenger Conduct

All passengers must:

  • Remain seated and wear seatbelts where available;

  • Follow driver safety instructions;

  • Refrain from disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behavior.

CallMeDD Inc. reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if passenger conduct compromises safety. No refunds shall be issued for terminations caused by passenger behavior.

8. Fees, Overtime & Additional Charges

Fees are based on:

  • Vehicle type;

  • Duration of service;

  • Distance and routing;

  • Passenger count.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Overtime or delays beyond the agreed schedule;

  • Excessive cleaning or damage;

  • Route changes or additional stops.

9. Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellation terms shall be communicated at the time of booking. Unless otherwise stated:

  • Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to partial or full charges;

  • No-shows or late arrivals are non-refundable.

10. Safety, Emergencies & Delays

CallMeDD Inc. may delay, reroute, or suspend services due to:

  • Weather conditions;

  • Mechanical issues;

  • Road closures;

  • Safety concerns.

In emergencies, drivers may contact emergency services and follow safety protocols. CallMeDD Inc. shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

11. Liability & Indemnification

The Group Organizer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless CallMeDD Inc., its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and drivers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Passenger conduct;

  • Failure to obtain required consents;

  • Instructions or actions of the Group Organizer or Authorized Representative.

This clause does not apply to claims arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct by CallMeDD Inc.

12. Recording & Monitoring

Vehicles used for School / Group Transportation may be equipped with GPS tracking and in-vehicle monitoring systems for safety, training, and incident review purposes.

13. Governing Law

This Addendum shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

By booking School / Group Transportation services, the Group Organizer acknowledges and agrees to this Addendum.
